As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic legal counsel and guidance to senior leaders and the board on complex issues affecting business operations and activities. You will also be responsible for structuring and negotiating business agreements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulations. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide strategic legal counsel and guidance to senior leaders and the board on complex issues affecting business operations and activities * Structure and negotiate business agreements, including master services agreements, provider agreements, data licensing agreements, and supply agreements * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, product, marketing, security, and technology teams, to develop and implement digital products and services * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations, including data analytics, intellectual property, and cybersecurity * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of arenaflex's digital products and services, technology, security, and information systems * Work closely with external counsel and advisors to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations * Provide guidance on data analytics and intellectual property issues, including data governance, data security, and intellectual property protection * Collaborate with the business and product teams to develop and implement data analytics and intellectual property strategies * Stay up-to-date on arenaflex's business objectives, challenges, and priorities to develop and implement effective intellectual property portfolio strategies **Work Liabilities** * Use knowledge of legal specialties to provide guidance and advice on complex issues affecting business operations and activities * Audit and prepare official records for presentation to the board for execution to ensure accurate expression of the legal content * May receive explicit direction from the board or senior legal experts regarding the results, process, and timelines anticipated * Collaborate with specialty units to achieve corporate objectives and mitigate unnecessary business risk * Research legal standards and precedents, engage with and manage external counsel, draft official records, collect relevant case-related data using multiple sources and techniques, provide work direction to other professionals, paraprofessionals, and support staff in developing solutions to issues presented * Maintain awareness of legal and business trends that could impact those specialty units within arenaflex that you serve **Essential Capabilities** * Juris Doctorate from a licensed graduate school and at least 5 years of post-bar lawyer legal work experience in a mix of law firm and corporate settings * Required licensure to provide legal counsel in at least one state * Required Illinois bar enrollment or active bar participation on favorable terms in at least one U.S. jurisdiction * Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details and meeting time constraints of various tasks with changing completion dates * At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace * At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience **Favored Capabilities** * Ability to act in a fast-paced environment where prioritization and capacity to work independently are essential for success **Top 10 Interview Questions** * Can you tell us about yourself? * What interests you about this position? * What are your strengths? * What are your weaknesses? * Can you give an example of a time when you solved a problem creatively? * How do you handle stress and pressure? * How would you describe your work style? * Can you tell us about a time when you had to work with a difficult colleague or supervisor? * How do you stay organized and prioritize tasks? * What are your long-term career goals? **Document Required** * Required Documents for This Recruitment: The candidate should have this Document Before Apply Online.
