**Job Summary**
As a Senior Data Analyst on our Healthcare Data Insights and Reporting team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business outcomes and improve patient care. You will collaborate with our IT, data science, and business teams to develop and maintain data warehouses, extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, and data visualization tools. Your expertise will help us to extract insights from complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and inform business decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business outcomes and improve patient care
* Develop and maintain data warehouses, ETL processes, and data visualization tools to support business intelligence and reporting
* Extract insights from complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and inform business decisions
* Work with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical models
* Develop and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Collaborate with IT teams to develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data storage, processing, and retrieval
* Develop and maintain data visualization tools, including dashboards, reports, and data stories
* Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and clinicians
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
* Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Java
* Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
* Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
* Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations, including HIPAA and ICD-10
* Experience with data governance and quality processes
* Certification in data science, data analysis, or a related field
