Your responsibilities will include: * **Proofreading Written and Digital Work Product**: Review and edit written materials, such as marketing materials, internal documents, emails, press releases, and website text, to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, consistency, and brand voice. * **Crosschecking References and Data**: Verify the accuracy of all referenced facts, dates, pages, values, and double-check cross-referenced materials, such as websites, newspapers, and source logs. * **Review Output for Consistency**: Ensure that content aligns with company-wide work, maintaining consistency across campaigns, products, and brands. * **Collaborate with Team Members**: Attend team meetings, provide constructive editorial input, and communicate with team members to effectuate consistent, accurate, and high-quality work product. * **Improve Editing Processes**: Suggest process improvements based on daily exposure to copy and procedures, evaluating and recommending changes to create efficiencies. **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. * Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail. * Proficiency in digital content management systems, word processing software, and proofreading symbols. * Strong computer skills, with the ability to work extensively on digital content and software. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and provide constructive feedback. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: * Experience in customer service or a related field. * Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and concepts. * Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services. * Certification in editing, proofreading, or a related field. **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * **Attention to detail**: A keen eye for spotting errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. * **Quick reading and editing skills**: Ability to read and edit quickly, without sacrificing quality. * **Resourcefulness**: Ability to track down resources, address questions or issues, and find answers to get projects to the finish line. * **Multitasking**: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines. * **Communication and interpersonal skills**: Ability to collaborate with team members, provide constructive feedback, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to supporting your career growth and development.
