Our pharmacy team is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to join our team. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, your key responsibilities will include: * **Customer Experience** + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * **Operations** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * **Pharmacy Support** + Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow. + Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly. + Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs. + Verify medicine is correct and check for possible interactions. + Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. * **Additional Responsibilities** + Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist. + Process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner. + Assist and support the pharmacy department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. + Maintain knowledge of company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs. + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Assume web pick-up responsibilities and assist with exterior and interior maintenance. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. * PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment. * Knowledge of pharmacy systems and equipment. * Familiarity with state and local laws regarding regulated products. * Experience with inventory management and asset protection techniques. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. * Familiarity with pharmacy systems and equipment. * Knowledge of state and local laws regarding regulated products. * Experience with inventory management and asset protection techniques. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
