**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Experience Specialist in Firearms & Sporting Goods at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to support a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring that every customer has an extraordinary shopping experience. Your duties will include:
* Ensuring an exceptional guest experience in the Firearms & Sporting Goods departments
* Supporting a strong commitment to world-class customer service
* Organizing and maintaining firearms in all locations within the store, including the Firearms Counter and Firearms Vault
* Completing 4473 forms thoroughly and accurately
* Receiving firearms using logbooks and electronic systems
* Greeting every customer with eye contact and a smile
* Acknowledging every waiting customer as soon as they arrive at the Firearms counter/Sporting Goods department area
* Listening to customer needs and asking appropriate follow-up questions
* Completing transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in conversation
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Completion of high school or the equivalent
* Retail experience
* Demonstrated willingness and potential for additional responsibility
* Knowledge and experience in selling firearms and ammunition is preferred
* Previous experience with Inventory Control procedures preferred
* Prior knowledge and experience with firearms preferred
* Understanding of ATF laws and regulations
* Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
* Ability to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions
* Excellent attention to detail
* Willingness to cross-train and work in other areas of the store as needed
* Must possess a welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members
* Excellent communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* 12 months of retail experience preferred
**Nice-to-haves**
While not essential, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial in this role:
* Knowledge of firearms and ammunition sales
* Experience in customer service roles
* Familiarity with retail inventory management
