The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a critical member of the executive team, shaping the company's people strategy and fostering a high-performance culture while building the HR foundation necessary for growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a holistic HR strategy aligned with Tiberius Aerospace’s mission, vision, and growth objectives
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on workforce planning, organizational health, succession, leadership capability, and talent risk
- Translate business strategy into actionable people priorities across engineering, manufacturing, operations, programs, and corporate functions
- Partner with executive leadership on organizational design, restructuring, and change initiatives as the business scales
- Lead organizational design efforts to ensure the company structure supports business priorities, speed, accountability, and growth
- Build workforce planning processes that align hiring, capability development, and organizational structure with operating plans
- Assess talent gaps and organizational needs across technical, operational, and corporate teams
- Support long-range headcount planning, leadership bench strength, and succession readiness
- Champion a positive, high-performance, and mission-driven culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that strengthen communication, retention, trust, and manager effectiveness
- Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment that supports both business performance and employee development
- Help leadership reinforce company values as the organization grows and matures
- Ensure compliance with employment law, HR best practices, and people-related risk management across applicable jurisdictions
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, policy interpretation, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution with sound judgment and consistency
- Develop and maintain policies, documentation, and HR controls appropriate for a regulated aerospace and defense environment
- Partner with leadership and legal resources as needed on sensitive employee matters and organizational risk
- Implement and optimize HRIS, digital tools, and people analytics to support data-informed decision-making
- Build scalable HR operations, service delivery processes, and reporting cadence to support continued company growth
- Establish workforce dashboards and metrics to provide leadership visibility into hiring, retention, engagement, performance, and talent risk
- Improve efficiency, consistency, and data quality across all core HR processes
- Act as a trusted executive advisor on organizational effectiveness, leadership dynamics, executive coaching, and team health
- Support major change management efforts as Tiberius Aerospace evolves and scales
- Partner with senior leaders to improve communication, alignment, and organizational resilience during periods of growth or transformation
- Help the leadership team build a disciplined, scalable organization without losing speed or mission focus
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including VP, Head of HR, or senior Director roles
- Demonstrated success in scaling HR functions in high-growth, transformative, or operationally complex environments
- Deep understanding of employment law, compliance, employee relations, and risk mitigation
- Experience implementing HRIS and digital people analytics tools
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and executive advisory skills
- Proven ability to influence leaders across technical, operational, and executive functions
- Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, hardware, or other mission-critical operating environments
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or program-driven organizations
- Familiarity with government-contractor or regulated-industry HR environments
- Experience building HR infrastructure during periods of rapid growth or organizational transformation
- Master's degree, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other relevant advanced credential preferred
