**Job Summary**
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for performing inbound and outbound calls to members who need help finding local community resources to meet their social needs. You'll work closely with our team to provide exceptional customer service, leveraging your language skills and technical expertise to navigate complex issues and find solutions. This is a full-time role, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Perform inbound and outbound calls to members, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner
* Utilize technical skills to navigate online applications, multiple screens, and other tools to find and provide community resources to members
* Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and find creative solutions
* Develop and maintain a strong understanding of local community resources, including Medicaid and other social services
* Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating active listening, empathy, and a positive attitude
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call volume, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction
**Essential Qualifications**
* A minimum of 12 months of customer service or service industry-related experience, with proven customer service skills
* Excellent computer skills, including typing proficiency, multi-tasking between online applications, and multiple screens
* Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, folders)
* Ability to provide a designated workspace free from noise and other distractions
* High-speed internet with the ability to hardwire via Ethernet from cable modem to PC
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred and must be able to pass language certification
**Preferred Qualifications**
* At least 1 year in a call center setting
* Inbound/outbound call center experience
* Knowledge of Medicaid
* Applicants who have personal experience with community resource navigation to assist with Medicaid needs are encouraged to apply
* Strong communication skills (oral and written)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Active listening proficiency
* Ability to be receptive to feedback and to embrace continuous improvement
* Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to display empathy towards customers' needs and concerns

* GED/High School Diploma

* The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $25.65
