As an LPN - Occupational Health, you will oversee and manage administrative, clinical, and operational nursing duties, including care coordination, worker's compensation case management, occupational medicine, medical management, prevention, and health coaching. If you're a skilled nurse with a passion for occupational health, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role. **Key Responsibilities** * **Care Coordination:** + Support and coordinate care for onsite/near-site model coordinators for community resources + Collaborate on program development, including onsite preventative services, primary care/specialist referrals for employees * **Worker's Compensation:** + Manage worker's compensation cases, facilitating referrals, ensuring appropriate care, prescriptions, and scheduling studies and return-to-work assessments + Attend plant safety meetings, reviewing injuries and providing resources for work comp guidelines to injured employees + Coordinate work comp modified duty with client's supervisors and safety teams * **Occupational Medicine:** + Evaluate all work injuries and return-to-work responsibilities + Serve as a subject matter expert for program development and services as needed + Collaborate with environmental health and safety, operations, and human resources teams * **Medical Management:** + Evaluate and treat all injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions in an efficient and professional manner within nursing scope of practice and guidelines + Assist in medical emergencies, taking vital signs, and providing basic wound care + Give immunizations under physician orders and support medical management plans * **Prevention:** + Develop and implement wellness campaigns, promoting immunizations, CPR training, and health education + Identify prevention and health opportunities, promoting employee engagement and participation * **Health Coaching:** + Educate employees on prevention, chronic disease, and health opportunities + Initial goal setting to achieve improvement in health outcomes + Steerage into health and wellness programs, including pilots **Essential Qualifications** * LPN license with active license in Georgia, in good standing (preferably multi-state licensure) * At least 2 or more years of nursing experience * CPR certificate from the American Heart Association * Electronic health record and computer skills required * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Preferred Qualifications** * Knowledge/experience of the manufacturing industry * Knowledge/experience with occupational health nursing * Knowledge of recordable and non-recordable accidents * Bilingual in Spanish **Work Environment and Company Culture** * This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week role in Chatsworth, GA * Occasional or permanent remote work may be required; internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload * careerzynith is a tobacco-free organization and reserves the right not to hire tobacco/nicotine users in states where that is legally permissible * Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local ordinances **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and compassionate nurse with a passion for occupational health, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
