Key Responsibilities

• Perform information section and patient enrollment tasks, adhering to state and government guidelines.
• Answer high-volume customer inquiries, working under direct supervision, and following established protocols and procedures.
• Utilize arenaflex's pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication data, ensuring accurate and timely information.
• Handle patient medicine requests within HIPAA guidelines, entering top-off orders for processing.
• Investigate missing pharmacy data, decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve information section-related issues.
• Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and remotely, recognizing and escalating issues to senior-level staff as needed.
• Acquire a dynamic pharmacist license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain a current license or certification.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Basic computer skills, including starting and closing the computer, using the mouse, launching and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online.
• Basic web search skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the address bar, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing online forms.
• Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Age 18 or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment.
• At least 1.5 years of pharmacy experience with a license or certification from the state or a nationally recognized certification agency.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
• Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports).
• Familiarity with Spanish and English.
