**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Transplant, you will be responsible for:
* Routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
* Making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
* Working in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and data entry
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless patient care
* Providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
* Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations
**Key Qualifications:**
* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
* Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask between patient referrals
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with patients and healthcare providers
* Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data entry
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Specialty pharmacy experience
* Call center experience
* Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
**Work Environment and Culture:**
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week and a flexible schedule that includes 8:00am-7:30pm Monday-Friday
* No weekends or holidays
* Collaborative and supportive team environment
