**Key Responsibilities:**
* Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, determine their needs, and exceed their expectations through exceptional customer service
* Deliver outstanding customer experiences through customer engagement and quality product delivery
* Be knowledgeable about products and services offered and properly promote them to customers
* Identify customer needs and offer additional services that could benefit them
* Receive, sort, and place mail in mailboxes accurately
* Record all sales transactions completely and accurately in the Point of Sale system
* Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products
* Receive and prepare documents for printing
* Operate all software packages, including shipment manifesting software and label generation
* Process and document damaged shipments, late, and lost package claims
* Assist in merchandising the store, including stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product, and informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies
* Perform end-of-day duties, including reconciliation of cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with company policy and procedure
* Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and all other office machines in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
* Help customers operate office machines located in the retail area
* Perform general housekeeping duties
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment
* Knowledge of Point of Sale systems and shipping procedures
* Familiarity with office equipment, such as copiers and fax machines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
