**Job Summary**
As an Experienced P&C Licensed Wholesale Customer & Operations Representative, you'll serve as the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert guidance and support on a range of insurance-related topics. You'll work closely with agents and staff to resolve service issues, answer market inquiries, and provide quotes and policy information. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring accuracy and completeness in policy processing, and developing strong relationships with our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Serve as the first point of contact for customers, responding to calls, emails, and chats in a timely and professional manner
* Resolve service issues, answer market inquiries, and provide quotes and policy information to customers
* Assist agents and staff with carrier information and general processes and procedures
* Prepare and release coverage and premium financing quotes
* Process policy information, including issuance of certificates, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to carrier specifications
* Order inspections as requested
* Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts as needed
* Develop role-specific standard work processes for the team, mentor team members, and provide project support
* Complete other assignments or participate in projects based on skills, achievements, or experience
**Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements**
* Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
* Demonstrated experience and proficiency using PC software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
* Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance or brokerage customer service or policy processing processes, terms, and procedures
* Demonstrated experience in customer service for insurance or brokerage products
* Solid knowledge of state-specific regulations and system/procedural support for insurance or brokerage products
* Solid knowledge and application of underwriting processing, servicing, or billing guidelines
* Demonstrated experience using reference materials, reading policy language, and processing rules and procedures
* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
**Licenses**
* Resident state producer license property and casualty producer license for commercial lines required
* Property and casualty producer licenses for all operating and/or service states must be obtained within 60 days of hire
* Required to maintain current, active license(s) status by continuing education and meeting all state, operating, and regulatory requirements
* Preference will be given to candidates who have an active P&C Producer's license
**Work Hours**
The work hours for this role are 8:20 am-5:00 pm PST, regardless of the location you are in. You'll spend 80% of your time working from home, proximate to one of our office locations (within approximately 35-50 miles). On occasion, you may be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
**Travel Requirements**
Up to 5% travel is required for this role.
