**Key Responsibilities and Job Elements**
As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you'll be responsible for:
* Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
* Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations
* Collaborating with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
* Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching to perform tasks
* Standing or walking for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced environment
* Working in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading departments
* Continuously climbing and descending stairs (applicable to sites with stairs)
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management position, preferably in a customer-facing or operations environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* Experience in a similar role or industry, such as logistics, transportation, or customer service
* Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations
* Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes, including our Operations network
* Certification in a relevant field, such as logistics or supply chain management
