**Key Responsibilities**
As a Part-Time Patient Customer Service Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing ridiculously nice customer service over the phone to patients of arenaflex's clients, gathering payments for medical expenses
* Placing and receiving phone calls to/from patients to gather payment information, resolve questions or concerns, and educate patients on healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs
* Collecting demographic, insurance, and other relevant information from patients, making appropriate documentation in internal technology platforms
* Leveraging internal technology platforms and other web-based tools to research and resolve patient questions or concerns
* Educating patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs or incentives to improve their financial well-being
* Maintaining and evolving knowledge of the expectations, processes, and procedures of arenaflex's numerous clients
**Training and Onboarding**
As a Part-Time Patient Customer Service Specialist, you'll undergo a comprehensive training program to ensure you're equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role. Training will take place Monday-Friday, 11:00am-3:00pm CST, for approximately 7-8 weeks.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* 1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service capacity
* 1+ year(s) of experience contributing to a team culture of learning and growth
* 1+ year(s) of experience in a call center environment
* 1+ year(s) of experience in medical/insurance coding and billing (preferred)
