**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service and Support Representative to join our Supply Center team. As a critical role in our organization, you'll be responsible for serving and supporting our customers through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and consultative selling skills. **Key Responsibilities**
* Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to customer needs thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
* Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively support customers
* Field and resolve customer issues and questions in a professional and courteous manner
* Perform inside sales duties as needed, including quoting, ordering, and scheduling product deliveries
* Establish, develop, and service new customer accounts to drive business growth
* Utilize consultative selling skills to identify customer needs and provide solutions
* Accurately enter customer orders and maintain accurate records
* Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
* Support the Supply Center team in achieving overall business goals and objectives
* Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the team and the organization
**Requirements**
* Ability to multi-task and make business decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Composed under pressure with a results-driven attitude
* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
* Effective time management and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
* Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, talk, and listen for extended periods
* Ability to work in a warehouse environment with forklifts present
**Preferred Qualifications**
* College degree preferred
* 2+ years' experience in a retail/wholesale environment with a demonstrated success working with customers
* Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook experience
* General knowledge of the building industry preferred but not required
**Work Environment**
* The atmosphere is that of a warehouse environment and office space
* This position will primarily work in a facility where forklifts are present
* Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued for the branch location
* Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat
* Frequent use of company communication devices, such as a computer, cell phone, and printer
