**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and bi-lingual Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a Cashier/Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional customer service, operating the point of sale register, and performing various front desk duties. **Key Responsibilities**
- Operate the point of sale register efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
- Perform various front desk duties, including answering telephones, handling in-house radio, and completing miscellaneous job assignments.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and safety.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and enhance the customer experience.
- Participate in visual merchandising, inventory management, and other store-related activities as needed.
**Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Bi-lingual skills (English and Spanish) required; proficiency in other languages a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a hardware store or similar environment.
- Knowledge of hardware products, tools, and equipment.
- Experience with point of sale systems and inventory management software.
- Certification in customer service or a related field.
