Key Responsibilities: Coordinate domestic and international shipments via various transportation modes. Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers. Track and trace shipments, providing real-time updates to stakeholders. Resolve delivery exceptions and logistical challenges promptly. Manage carrier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements. Optimize transportation routes and modes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate logistics documentation and records. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., warehousing, customer service) to ensure smooth operations. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the logistics function. Stay informed about industry trends and regulations affecting transportation. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination or freight management. Strong knowledge of transportation modes (truckload, LTL, air, ocean). Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and/or other logistics software. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
