Roots Management Group is an integrated manufactured housing community investment and management company focused on increasing affordable housing options. They are seeking a Vice President of Sales to drive sales initiatives, provide leadership to the sales team, and develop strategies to support company growth.
Responsibilities
- You will define targeted sales initiatives and execute winning strategies to increase growth, improve productivity, and drive efficiency
- Direct the creation, development and production of sales proposals, presentations, brochures, and external communications
- You will manage brand awareness, public relations, image management and telling the story of Roots Management Group through our Sales initiatives
- Work with the VP of Marketing to develop strategic promotional plans and prepare marketing campaigns for sales
- Stay up to date on current industry trends to identify business opportunities, and allocates resources efficiently
- Perform competitive benchmarking, target market analysis, forecasting, financial modeling and strategy development
- Know what needs to be reported – to who (internally and externally), how that information should be presented, and on what cadence
- Projecting sales, setting quotas, developing budgets, establishing territories with an eye toward ROI
- Manage a strong, driven team of professionals by motivating, supporting and inspiring them in order to meet objectives and complete projects
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the team and the overarching goals of the organization
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required
- 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
- Direct experience in manufactured housing, multifamily, single-family rental, residential real estate, or a closely related industry required
- Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic sales initiatives while partnering with marketing to generate qualified leads and increase conversion rates
- Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, sales reporting, and KPI analysis
- Working knowledge of manufactured housing lender programs, chattel financing, Fair Housing regulations, and industry best practices
- Proven ability to develop, coach, and retain high-performing sales professionals and leaders
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales operations tools, with experience leveraging data to improve pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies to meet business objectives
- Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally with operations, finance, acquisitions, and executive leadership to drive organizational performance
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to travel to support communities, sales teams, industry events, and business initiatives
