Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Accelevation LLC is a company that designs, manufactures, and installs the physical infrastructure that powers advanced technologies. They are seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee the execution of mission-critical construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Own projects from engineering handoff through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and execution
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering timelines, resources, costs, and risk mitigation
- Partner closely with Engineering, Solutions, Sales, Pre-Construction, Finance, and Field Operations to ensure contract-aligned delivery
- Lead and coordinate internal trade teams, subcontractors, vendors, and external partners
- Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, permits, change orders, and closeout deliverables
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, revenue tracking, and labor planning
- Build and maintain project schedules with clear milestones and accountability
- Track project performance and proactively escalate risks, delays, or cost impacts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders, managing expectations through clear communication
- Enforce quality, safety, and regulatory standards in partnership with the Safety team
- Travel to job sites as needed, including kickoff and closeout meetings, up to 50 percent
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in construction, project management, or a general contractor environment
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools and systems such as Procore, ACC, Epicor, Microsoft Project, or similar
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and scopes of work
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, change orders, and project forecasts
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with data center, electrical, low voltage, or mission-critical infrastructure
- PMP certification
