The Solutions Consultant role is focused on determining the strategic, operational, and technical scope of new business opportunities, influencing sales revenue, and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with sales resources and customers to understand needs and then position Thomson Reuters product(s) as the best solution to solve those needs
- Build and present customized demos
- Convey deep understanding of the customer's industry and workflow as it relates to Thomson Reuters products and services
- Acquire and maintain an advanced technical understanding of Thomson Reuters products and services
- Coordinate strategy with other divisions where customer insights and experiences can provide valuable influence and drive revenue for the business unit

- Knowledge of tax and accounting business processes

- Ownership/professionalism/accountability - personal commitment to deliver on your responsibilities including extra effort where/when required
- Aptitude for problem-solving, ability to generate innovative approaches and solutions to problems
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in communication preferred
- Prior TR Tax & Accounting Sales or Support Experience a plus
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of the accounting/tax software industry and/or the public accounting profession
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of TRTA products, services and related tools
