The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in evolving FP&A into a decision-support partner to the business, owning core processes including reporting, forecasting, and KPI analysis while driving improvements in accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate the company’s forecasting and budgeting models
- Maintain and enhance driver-based models and scenario analysis
- Improve forecast accuracy and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Translate business inputs into clear financial implications
- Partner directly with Sales, Operations, and other functional leaders
- Provide proactive financial insights to support decision-making
- Challenge assumptions and clearly frame trade-offs, risks, and outcomes
- Support resource planning, profitability analysis, and operational improvements
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce manual reporting and improve efficiency
- Partner with data and systems teams (Snowflake / BI tools) to improve data accessibility and reliability
- Help implement and scale FP&A systems and tools
- Standardize reporting and forecasting processes
- Develop and maintain key financial and operational KPIs
- Monitor performance trends and highlight key drivers
- Support leadership with clear, consistent performance visibility
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables end-to-end
- Ensure all reporting is accurate, reconciled, and delivered on time
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and clearly communicate drivers of performance
- Provide variance analysis with actionable insights and recommendations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree - Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience (mortgage banking experience a must)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with data tools (Snowflake, BI tools, or similar)
- Experience with FP&A systems or planning tools
