Novaris Search is partnering with a biotech start-up focused on developing effective actives and enzymes for sustainable consumer products. The Business Development Manager will lead global commercial activities for innovative biotechnology-based ingredients, focusing on identifying and converting commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and convert new customers across cosmetics, personal care, specialty chemicals, biotechnology, and related sectors
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for newly commercialised products
- Manage complex technical sales processes involving qualification, testing, validation and scale-up activities
- Build relationships with R&D, innovation, procurement and commercial stakeholders within target organisations
- Maintain and develop a strong pipeline of prospects and strategic opportunities globally
Skills
- Significant understanding of selling to personal care manufacturers and/or brands
- Strong knowledge of active ingredients and enzymes/emollients
- Entrepreneurial mindset
