The role involves leading the design process, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing to product strategy while ensuring design decisions align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final UI design
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Create prototypes and high-fidelity designs that align with the product vision
- Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across the product
- Work closely with product management to align design work with business goals and user needs
- Contribute to product roadmaps, providing insights from a design perspective
- Assist in prioritizing features and defining product requirements that enhance user experience and business impact
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and engineering, to ensure a cohesive product experience
- Act as an advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle
Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a product or UI/UX designer with shipped products in your portfolio
- Proven ability to balance design tasks with strategic product management responsibilities
- Experience creating designs either mobile-first or desktop-first
- Experience with both consumer and business systems
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present ideas clearly
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, or similar
- Strong understanding of product strategy and the ability to contribute to roadmap planning
- Analytical mindset with experience in user research and data-driven decision-making
- Work closely with product management to align design work with business goals and user needs
