The National Account Executive for Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility is responsible for developing and nurturing key relationships with significant clients in the REI space, ensuring that their needs are met while driving sales and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the Women’s Health Management in the implementation of the REI strategy for our WH Ultrasound Business; the primary strategic business segment for this role is REI
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume & strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that establishes mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
- Sell to hospitals and clinics in the REI space
- Manage potential conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
- Lead solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company, partner, and third-party personnel
- Ensure REI compliance with partner agreements and drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners
- Seamlessly coordinate involvement of company personnel, direct and indirect sales, Corporate Accounts Team, and cross-functional resources, including Clinical, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Finance, Service, and management resources to satisfy company, dealer, and customer needs
- Collaborate with National REI Ultrasound Leader, management, marketing, and third-party resources to create programs that drive REI & WH sales nationally
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry, market, societies, buying groups, competitors, and customers in the REI market
- Work closely with Women’s Health, Strategic Account Management, Product, Marketing, Clinical, Strategic, & Service managers to create a cohesive go-to-market strategy
- Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and internal audiences with 2-2000+ attendees
- Assist (WH) Management & WH Zone Modality Leaders to identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders within the REI markets
- Create and implement a strategic plan for boosting market share specifically for the REI market segment
- Communicate channel activities and results and provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and budgeting to Senior Management to ensure accurate and timely updates to forecast and funnel in CRM
- Maintain weekly activity report rigor
- Conduct monthly Pipeline and PSI review
- Attend and complete all required training and certification exams
- Become and remain compliant with vendor credentialing requirements
- Maintain current, exceedingly elevated level of knowledge for all products
- Learn and follow the Samsung HME Sales Process
- Meet Quarterly and Annual Sales Goals
- Coordinate with Customer Service regarding client issues to ensure fast and accurate resolution
- Drive sales in a hospital, physician office, or imaging center and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for assigned and acquired products as required
- Call on physicians, imaging center directors, materials management, hospital administrators, and clinical directors to create awareness of the company's products
- Complete pre and post-sales technical product advice for the development and implementation of customer solutions
- Prepare and present detailed technical proposals including on-site product demonstrations (sometimes in the presence of patients and patient family members) and implement a customer needs plan to ensure potential sales are feasible within cost, time, and environmental constraints
- Conduct in-services, seminars, and demonstrations as necessary for groups of professionals
- Attend/complete all required training
- Learn about the company's products as well as the competitor's products to better promote the company's product line
- Transport company equipment per company policy
- Manage time effectively; prioritize and make good business judgments and decisions in relationship to efficiency, effectiveness while meeting daily call expectations
- Required to wear dosimeters when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices
Skills
- 5+ years sales experience required; experience in Medical Capital or Ultrasound Sales with average sales price of $300K - $1M highly required. You must have a documentable history of successful selling
- Budget, expense, and resource management experience required
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment

- Willingness to travel, overnight, and on weekends
- Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record; background and drug testing (pre‑ and post‑employment) is required
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days
- Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather)
- Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or other related discipline preferred
- REI ultrasound market knowledge & REI sales experience preferred
- Experience managing a large, high volume, multi-state territory preferred
- Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures is highly desirable
