Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. National Digital Trust Company is a newly established federally chartered trust bank focused on providing digital asset services. The Head of Business Development will lead strategic relationships and drive sales and revenue growth while shaping the company's operating model in the evolving financial services sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and partnership activities for the company, spanning all business lines and product offerings
- Partner with the Chief Business Officer, Managing Director of Sales & Business Development, and the broader team to define and execute business, marketing, and product objectives across client segments
- Build and deepen relationships with prospective clients and key stakeholders within assigned market segments
- Own the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, outreach, initial pitches, sustained engagement, contract negotiation, and deal closure
- Develop and execute market, segment, and client growth strategies to identify asset potential and position us for disproportionate growth relative to competitors
- Champion and actively promote the company’s corporate values and culture
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver ongoing white-glove service to clients post-onboarding
- Maintain a deep and current understanding of the digital asset ecosystem, including coins and tokens, capital markets, pricing dynamics, competitive platforms, and regulatory and compliance considerations
- Develop expert-level knowledge of our products, including technical architecture and client workflows for digital asset adoption
- Communicate our value proposition with professionalism, credibility, and gravitas to clients, partners, and market participants
- Contribute to the definition of firm-wide targets and lead execution to consistently exceed sales, product, revenue, and growth objectives
- Synthesize and communicate market intelligence and client feedback internally across marketing, product, engineering, operations, risk, and compliance teams
- Assess our competitive positioning and support the development of new strategies and product offerings

- A proven track record of building, scaling, and leading business development teams at the intersection of financial services and technology
- Deep experience selling complex technology solutions, financial products, and/or trading services across multiple financial services segments
- Proven ability to set, lead, and consistently exceed product, revenue, and financial targets in dynamic and evolving markets
- Genuine enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and the broader digital asset ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to implement, utilize, and drive adoption of modern CRM systems across the full sales lifecycle in high-growth environments
- Comfort thriving in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities, milestones, and dependencies
- Compelling and charismatic communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to synthesize complex, disparate feedback into clear, concise narratives for internal and external audiences
