We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Care Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves supporting medication adherence and prescription processes through effective communication with members, providers, and clinical teams in a high-paced call center environment. Responsibilities:
• Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring prompt and thorough communication with members and providers.
• Support medication adherence by assisting with prescription refills and coordinating follow-ups with healthcare providers.
• Review and interpret prescription claim documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Address escalated inquiries across various communication channels, providing clear and accurate information.
• Translate prescriber notes and resolve Medicare drug-related issues effectively and efficiently.
• Utilize multiple systems simultaneously to manage tasks and deliver timely responses.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Provide administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth and organized operations.
• Maintain strict adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Consistently attend scheduled shifts, including rotating Saturdays, and work independently to meet assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in a pharmacy or medical setting.
• Minimum of six months of experience in a call center environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Solid understanding of pharmacy and medical terminology.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Basic knowledge of system troubleshooting is preferred.
Compensation
$20.00-$21.00 Hourly
