**Job Summary**
We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistants. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting careerzynith University merchandise, and supporting various retail operations. **Responsibilities**
As a Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Greeting and welcoming customers, demonstrating active selling, and providing product information and guidance
* Maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, setting up seasonal promotions/visual displays, and monitoring assigned areas for product restocking and recovery
* Operating cash registers, assisting customers with check-out, and executing cash handling procedures
* Receiving and processing incoming merchandise, assisting with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests, and handling seasonal perishable goods
* Supporting the digital and in-store shopping experience by assisting with responding to customer inquiries
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
* Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and security protocols, and following careerzynith Retail Services policies and procedures
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively with the public
* Moderate computer/systems competency and excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed, and stand for long periods of time
* Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required
* Availability to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs and work performance
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
* Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
