Rachel Parodneck & Associates Psychotherapy is a boutique private practice based in New York operating virtually. We primarily see high functioning adult clients. We see clients with a variety of general mental health concerns, including substance abuse and infertility.
Currently hiring bilingual Spanish speaking LMSWs who are licensed to practice in New York who are in need of supervision.
The employee will conduct individual sessions with the opportunity to also develop and facilitate groups. As such, there are many pathways for LMSWs to gain clinical hours as they are working toward their license.
This job is best for those looking to learn the ins and outs of operating a private practice while receiving supervision and gaining additional experience providing psychotherapy.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience providing psychotherapy in a private practice setting to adult New Yorkers. Looking for someone to learn and grow with the practice. Please only apply if you are planning to stay at least 1-2 years.
Candidates who have a caseload of clients to bring with them to this practice are preferred.

Minimum 10 client sessions per week.
We are in network with Aetna, Northwell Direct, and offer sliding scale as well as private pay.

Qualifications
• Master's degree and requisite state licensure
• Clinical social work: 1 year
• Experience working in a private practice setting
• Self-starter, learning mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Adept communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability to new systems, e.g., software platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and follow through
• Ability to balance independence and asking for help
• Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
• Complete onboarding and training
• Conduct pre-admission sessions to formulate a psychosocial assessment with diagnosis
• Conduct individual, couples, and/or group psychotherapy sessions.
• Create and implement treatment plans
• Build a minimum caseload of approximately 15 sessions per week
• Evaluate sessions and outcomes via intake/progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures
• Undergo supervision to reflect on sessions, including transference/countertransference
• Ability and willingness to be self-reflective and engaged in the supervisory and learning process
• Provide support and strong crisis intervention skills
• Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy

Compensation:
• All clinicians are hired as W-2 employees
• Clinicians earn $50-60 per 50-minute session and receive weekly supervision towards hours needed for independent licensure
