<p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p><em>POSITION TITLE: Finance Director – Wound Care Division</em></p> <p><em>REPORTS TO: Founder </em></p> <p><em>DEPARTMENT: Executive </em></p> <p><em>TIME STATUS: Full-time </em></p> <p>We’re seeking an executive-grade strategic thinker to join our client’s leadership team as the Finance Director for their Wound Care Division.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong><br /> You’ll lead financial strategy and execution for the Wound Care Division. While a dedicated Finance Director supports the Wellness Division, this role provides the distinct opportunity to chart the financial roadmap of a rapidly scaling, mission-driven business. Reporting directly to the Founder &amp; CEO, you’ll partner across clinical, operations, and executive teams across two continents.</p> <p><strong>Your Impact</strong><br /> Drive full financial ownership: strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and daily leadership.<br /> Strengthen revenue cycle performance—including billing, collections, and payer compliance.<br /> Manage cross-border complexity: payroll, tax compliance, and reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.<br /> Deliver impactful financial modeling and insights to empower executive decisions.<br /> Build and lead a high-performing finance team equipped with trust, accountability, and vision.</p> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualified: CA(SA) or CPA with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar.</li> <li>Experienced: 5–7 years of progressive finance leadership—healthcare or multi-entity experience is ideal—ready for executive decision-making.</li> <li>Skilled: Fluent in U.S. GAAP and IFRS; adept in cross-border finance, audits, tax, and revenue operations.</li> <li>Leader: A strategic yet hands-on financial leader, decisively navigating pressure and complexity.</li> <li>Communicator: Able to distil complex financial ideas into clarity for diverse audiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What’s On Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Title: Finance Director — Executive Leadership Role</li> <li>Location: Remote (based in South Africa)</li> <li>Compensation: USD 5,000–6,000/month</li> <li>Schedule: Full-time, flexible, with essential U.S. time-zone overlap.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why This Role Is Unique</strong><br /> You will own financial leadership in a high-growth environment, stepping into an executive function from day one. This is your opportunity to redefine how finance supports growth and innovation—across continents and care.</p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong><br /> <strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <p><em>Education:</em></p> <p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.</p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <p>Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, ideally within a healthcare or multi-location clinical practice setting.<br /> Proven experience managing diverse payor mixes, including Medicare, commercial insurance, and cash payments.</p> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <p>Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, especially in a healthcare context.<br /> Proficiency in financial software, billing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.<br /> Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.<br /> Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.<br /> Leadership qualities with a strong ability to manage, develop, and inspire a finance team.</p> <p><strong>Preferred Attributes:</strong></p> <p>Knowledge of wound care, IV therapy, and/or wellness service lines.<br /> Experience in a multi-state practice environment.<br /> Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards, especially concerning Medicare and commercial billing.</p>
