**About the Role:**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer in our Advertising Information Systems Development team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and extending our core advertising data models. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Examination Architects, Information Researchers, and Computer Programmers, to create data pipelines that deliver high-quality information to drive business decisions. Your expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation will be essential in ensuring the scalability, security, and business impact of our advertising data systems.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design, build, and extend our core advertising data models to address business questions
* Collaborate with partners to identify needs, model tables using programming and data warehouse best practices, and develop data pipelines to ensure the convenient delivery of high-quality information
* Work with Examination Architects, Information Researchers, and Computer Programmers to create data indexes that serve analysis and reporting needs intuitively
* Foster best practices for the administration of data indexes with sensitive data
* Build strong and collaborative relationships with data researchers, analysis specialists, and AI experts
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on advertising data
* Strong foundation in data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation
* Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Java
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Flash, Pig, Hive, Voila, and others
* Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with data warehousing and data transformation tools such as Apache Hive, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark
* Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
* Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
