**Job Summary**
We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team in New York City, NY. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing and management of data and correspondence. This is a Contract-to-long-term opportunity, offering the chance to transition into an ongoing role and grow with our organization.
**Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Clerk at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
* Review scanned documents, assign appropriate document type statuses, create new claims when necessary, and update relevant information within the iVOS system within 48 hours of receipt.
* Accurately process document type queues, including expense bills, NF2 forms, police reports, and litigation, ensuring completion within three business days.
* Provide support to Claims Examiners by addressing data entry inquiries and making necessary corrections.
* Process incoming mail promptly, ensuring it is opened, date-stamped, sorted, and distributed within four hours of receipt.
* Prepare outgoing mail by weighing, applying postage, and handling correspondence, including system entry, report generation, and tracking follow-ups.
* Maintain flexibility to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
* Perform all duties independently with minimal supervision.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Proficiency in using computers and basic PC software.
* Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* At least 1 year of relevant experience in data entry or a similar role.
* Effective organizational and time management skills.
* Willingness to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
