As a remote-friendly organization, we offer the flexibility and autonomy to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and motivated team. **Responsibilities:** As an Experienced Data Entry Assistant / Typing Professional, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: ### Case Processing Support * Logging in petitions and creating and labeling case folders * Researching cases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information * Preparing and entering associated data in systems to maintain accurate records * Maintaining the integrity of files within process units and file storage to ensure efficient retrieval and access * Scanning documents and associating them to electronic case files to streamline the filing process * Organizing case files in document order to facilitate easy access and retrieval * Identifying, reporting, and obtaining missing documents for cases to ensure completeness and accuracy ### Mail Room Support * Receiving, sorting, opening, organizing, date stamping, and delivering incoming mail and cases to the appropriate units * Operating letter insertion and postage equipment to ensure timely and efficient mail processing * Identifying and sorting mail, petitions, and files to prioritize and expedite processing * Delivering routing sheets/file requests to the appropriate units to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration * Requesting and receiving files from other units and delivering them to the appropriate units to ensure seamless workflow * Logging and delivering messages; logging petitions to maintain accurate records and facilitate communication * Weighing, labeling, pulling, and packing outgoing case files to ensure timely and efficient delivery ### Communications Support * Logging and delivering messages; logging petitions to maintain accurate records and facilitate communication * Inputting call questions and/or email responses into tracking systems; documenting every call/email to ensure accurate records and facilitate follow-up * Escalating calls to supervisors as required by procedures to ensure timely and effective resolution * Resolving caller questions promptly and efficiently to provide excellent customer service * Communicating answers clearly and correctly from scripted call response plans to ensure accurate and consistent information * Referencing answers from a computer while rapidly typing notes into a system to ensure accurate and timely documentation ### Intermediate Computer Skills * Good interpersonal and professional communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, and clients * Good attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment to ensure accuracy and efficiency * Ability to work in a multi-task environment with rapidly changing priorities to adapt to changing circumstances * Very good command of the English Language; Spanish is a plus to facilitate communication with diverse stakeholders * Demonstrate a professional work ethic to maintain a high level of productivity and quality ### Qualifications: #### Minimum Qualifications: * One (1) to two (2) years of relevant administrative experience preferred * Ability to pass a typing test of at least 35-40 WPM with no errors * Experience in an office/clerical environment is desired * Intermediate computer skills utilizing multiple monitors and active sessions * Basic use of MS Office including Excel, Word, and Email * Good interpersonal and professional communication skills * Good attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment * Capable of working in a multi-task environment with rapidly changing priorities * Very good command of the English Language; Spanish is a plus * Demonstrate a professional work ethic * Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check and credit history to obtain and maintain a government clearance ### What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment * Flexible remote work arrangement with the option to work from home * Professional development and growth opportunities * Collaborative and inclusive work culture * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Comprehensive training and onboarding program ### How to Apply: If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
