As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary customer interface for inquiries, handling incoming phone calls, and providing best-in-class service to our members. You will be responsible for researching customer information, resolving customer issues, and elevating sensitive customer requests when necessary. You will also be accountable for staying current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommending items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. **Key Responsibilities** - Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail. - Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues. - Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary. - Complies with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing, thus creating a very dynamic environment. - Responsible to take initiative to stay current on policies and procedures required to support the customer and to ensure compliance. - Accountable to remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. **Essential Qualifications** - High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred). - Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length. **Preferred Qualifications** - Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus. **Skills and Competencies** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information. - Proficiency in using computer software and systems. - Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering best-in-class service. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
