**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, taking orders, answering questions, handling complaints, and troubleshooting problems. You'll be the face of our company, and your positive attitude, empathy, and professionalism will make all the difference in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
* Assist all internal and external customers in a professional manner, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns.
* Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations.
* Receive requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and complete necessary processes for equipment services, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our Dispatch team.
* Engage in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed.
* Provide customers with product and service information, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
* Maintain current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is provided to customers.
* Verify medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Follow policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance, ensuring seamless processing and payment.
* Strive to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty among our customers.
* Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
**Qualifications**

* Education and/or Experience:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
+ 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred.
* Skills & Abilities:
+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
+ Customer service orientation.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Good data entry skills.
+ Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
