**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll provide top-notch support to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, handling a wide range of inquiries and requests with ease and professionalism. **Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering inbound calls from Aetna Medicaid members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
* Providing accurate and timely information to customers, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
* Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable, as Wi-Fi is not permitted
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolve complex issues
* Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
* Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues orally and in written form
* Strong customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues and exceeding customer expectations
* Ability to work from home and be self-sufficient, with occasional commutes to the office in Richmond, VA
* Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable
* Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working remotely in a call center setting
* Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
