With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, we're constantly seeking talented individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional service. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * **Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences**: Engage with customers, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience. Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience. * **Providing Efficient Checkout Service**: Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and recommend items for sale to customers. * **Maintaining a Clean and Organized Store Environment**: Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader. * **Implementing Asset Protection Procedures**: Identify and minimize profit loss by implementing company asset protection procedures. * **Ensuring Compliance with Regulations**: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. * **Constructing and Maintaining Displays**: Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. * **Providing Customer Service in the Photo Area**: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products. * **Assuming Web Pick-up Responsibilities**: Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store. * **Assisting with Exterior and Interior Maintenance**: Ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. * **Complying with Company Policies and Procedures**: Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and comply with all company policies and procedures. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred * 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment * Knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
