**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent, you will be responsible for:
* Responding to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems in a timely and efficient manner
* Dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, ensuring that our customers receive the help they need when it matters most
* Providing world-class customer service to customers in their time of need, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism
* Notifying customers of non-emergency signals, keeping them informed and up-to-date on the status of their alarm systems
* Notifying account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring that our customers' emergency contacts are aware of the situation
* Receiving and processing inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and helpful responses to customers' queries
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* The ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
* The ability to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states
* One year of customer service experience is preferred, but not required
**Nice-to-Haves**
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be advantageous:
* Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour)
* Experience in a high-stress environment, such as emergency services or customer-facing roles
