**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Chat Support Specialist to moderate our online platforms, including our official Discord server. As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our community remains a safe and respectful space for all users. This will involve monitoring chat activity, enforcing community guidelines, and providing support to users who may be experiencing issues.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Moderate chat activity on our official Discord server, ensuring that users adhere to community guidelines and rules
* Delete messages that violate community guidelines or rules
* Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of community guidelines or rules
* Mute users who have violated community guidelines or rules
* Investigate reports made by users about violations of community guidelines or rules
* Provide support to users who may be experiencing issues or have questions about our community guidelines or rules
* Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement community engagement strategies
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community moderation
**Qualifications**
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED
* Previous experience in community moderation or customer support is highly desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Familiarity with Discord and other online community platforms is an asset
