**Job Summary**
The Category Manager – Technology Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a critical role that requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and interpersonal skills. As a trusted advisor to our Air Operations groups, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of related Technology suppliers and categories. Your primary objective will be to maximize supplier value, mitigate risk, and ensure that our suppliers successfully meet business objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage a portfolio of Technology suppliers and categories, including Flight Operations, Network Operations Control, and Inflight Operations
* Develop and execute strategic sourcing events, negotiations, and contract drafting to maximize supplier value and mitigate risk
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives and provide exceptional service
* Analyze complex data and market trends to inform procurement decisions and drive business growth
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
* Mentor junior level colleagues and provide guidance on best practices and industry trends
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure careerzynith remains competitive and innovative
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
