Experienced Benefit Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity with careerzynith

As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a collaborative and dynamic team. This role offers career growth potential, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. **Key Responsibilities** As a Benefit Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and instant message * Building rapport and responding to customers in a compassionate manner, consistently meeting commitments and exceeding expectations * Customizing customer service approach to meet all types of member communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy * Handling confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements * Translating complex plan information and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon * Reading and understanding clients' plan documents and online knowledgebase tools to determine immediate requests/questions and anticipate future needs of the member **Shifts and Scheduling** * During our busy season, you'll be expected to work a 40-hour week and overtime when requested * During our off-season, your hours will fluctuate between 32 to 40 hours depending on client need * NO WEEKEND SHIFTS! Monday through Friday only! * Most locations require flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 7a-8p, but some west coast roles may require availability from 5:30a-8p **Requirements** * High School Diploma or GED * Any experience in Customer Service or Call Center is preferred * English speaking candidates or bilingual in Spanish or French are encouraged to apply (Paid 0.75 cents more if bilingual, fully fluent in Spanish or French) **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Proficiency in using technology and software applications * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion * Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At careerzynith, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
