Claims Supervisor - Worker Compensation

Role Overview
We are seeking a Claims Supervisor to provide oversight and leadership for a team of approximately five Workers’ Compensation claims adjusters. This role is focused on leadership, team development, and ensuring adherence to best practices, rather than hands-on claims handling. The position offers a fully remote work arrangement and opportunities for long-term career advancement within a supportive structure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a Workers' Compensation claims team, ensuring high-quality service and efficiency.Oversee a team handling a portfolio of lost time and indemnity claims.Guide the team in accordance with established best practices for claims management.Manage adjuster hiring, training, and performance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.Define team goals, manage workloads, and coach adjusters to support their professional development.Serve as a key point of communication for clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional and proactive manner.Effectively manage competing priorities and provide clear, process-oriented guidance to the team.
Required Qualifications
Education: A High School Diploma is required.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of related Workers' Compensation claims experience is required. Candidates must have direct claims handling experience in Arkansas or Louisiana, with Arkansas experience being preferred. At least 1-2 years of supervisory or people leadership experience is necessary.
Skills & Licensing: Candidates must be appropriately licensed and/or certified in the states where claims are handled, with an active license in Arkansas and/or Louisiana being ideal. A strong customer service mindset and clear, concise communication skills are essential for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree.Experience in both Arkansas and Louisiana jurisdictions.Previous claims experience from a TPA, carrier, or large self-insured employer.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000 annually. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
