Are you an experienced Workday U.S. Payroll Consultant ready to independently lead a payroll workstream for a major programme?
This project requires deep expertise in Workday Payroll, strong ownership, and confidence operating solo in a fast-moving implementation.
What you’ll be doing:
• Leading the U.S. Payroll workstream end-to-end using LX methodology.
• Gathering requirements, defining scope, and translating business needs into Workday Payroll configurations.
• Managing all functional design, configuration, testing, and validation activities.
• Identifying issues, risks, and dependencies, and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
• Guiding stakeholders through payroll processes, compliance requirements, and best-practice recommendations.
• Preparing documentation, supporting testing cycles, and ensuring readiness for go-live.
• Acting as the primary subject-matter expert across all U.S. Payroll topics for the duration of the project.
What we’re looking for:
• Workday Pro U.S. Payroll Services Certification (required).
• Workday Implementer Certification (required).
• Strong proficiency in LX methodology .
• Extensive experience leading U.S. Payroll implementations independently.
• Deep understanding of Workday payroll processing, compliance, taxes, calculations, and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously while managing stakeholder expectations.
