🔧 Core Windows Expertise (Deep Hands-On Required)
Strong knowledge of:
Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022) administration
Active Directory (Users, Groups, GPOs, OU structure)
DNS, DHCP, and Windows services troubleshooting
Deep understanding of:
OS internals (services, registry, processes, threads)
Boot process and troubleshooting failures
📊 Troubleshooting Depth
Ability to diagnose issues across:
CPU spikes, memory leaks, disk latency
Event logs, performance counters, system crashes
Strong working knowledge of Windows Performance Monitor, Event Viewer
🔐 Security & Identity
Hands-on experience with:
Group Policy (GPO management)
Access control and privilege management
Basic understanding of security frameworks and compliance
⚙️ Automation & Tools
Strong scripting skills in:
PowerShell (mandatory)
Exposure to Python / Ansible / GitHub
Experience with:
ServiceNow (Incident, Change, Problem workflows)
Monitoring tools (SCOM, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, etc.)
💻 Infrastructure Exposure
Basic understanding of:
Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS – preferred)
Awareness of network fundamentals (DNS resolution, ports, OSI basics)
