<p><b>Role:</b> Windows Engineer<br><b>Location:</b> London<br><b>Career Level:</b> Specialist</p> <b>Responsibilities</b> <ul> <li>Daily operational “break/fix” duties while working primarily out of a ticketing-based system with a large focus on Windows Server operating systems and their related Roles, Features, and components/infrastructure.</li> <li>Analyze, and support highly complex, enterprise-level Active Directory Services in hybrid, on-premises, and cloud hosted environments.</li> <li>Manage enterprise identity cloud directories including Microsoft Azure AD, AWS, Microsoft AD, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.</li> <li>Analyze current Directory Services environments to identify both technical and operational opportunities and develop continuous improvement action plans.</li> <li>Develop detailed knowledge based articles, standards, design, and implementation of documentation.</li> <li>Routine engagement with multiple other technical teams including Networking, Security, Database, Process Management, and Customer Relations personnel.</li> </ul> <b>Related Work Experience</b> <ul> <li>Troubleshooting all operating system related issues including, but not limited to, performance, system health, and system security.</li> <li>Managing multiple Active Directory Domains and Forests in disparate environments.</li> <li>Managing Active Directory Groups, Users, Services, and Computer Accounts.</li> <li>Group Policy Management (planning, implementing, and troubleshooting).</li> <li>Managing Active Directory Certificate Services / PKI.</li> <li>Supporting O365 migration (Technical understanding and working knowledge of M365 platforms).</li> <li>Supporting Azure, OCI and AWS migrations.</li> <li>Supporting Azure EntraID and AD Connect.</li> <li>Supporting Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, ADFS, SSO.</li> <li>Supporting upgrades and routine troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems including security remediations.</li> <li>Disaster Recovery execution, coordination, and creation of related documentation.</li> <li>Strict Change Control, Incident, and Problem resolution based on ITIL methodology.</li> <li>Working knowledge and utilising AI based tooling for cloud assessments, infrastructure improvements and data capturing.</li> <li>Professional engagement with clients to discuss Infrastructure related changes or improvements to environments.</li> <li>After hours on call rotation required to ensure support for UK strategic clients.</li> </ul> <b>Desirable</b> <ul> <li>Extensive understanding and hands on experience of hybrid cloud deployments including management of virtual servers, resources, networking, storage and hypervisors.</li> </ul> <b>What’s In It For You</b> <p>Accenture offers a competitive basic salary, up to 25 days of vacation per year, private medical insurance, and three extra days of leave per year for charitable work of your choice.
