Project – the aim you’ll have
As a Delivery Manager you’ll orchestrate delivery of financial software solutions for international clients in banking, payments, WealthTech and insurance sectors. Working with cross-functional teams including Architects, Product Owners and Business Analysts, you’ll manage projects involving cloud modernization, AI integration and digital transformation initiatives. You’ll be responsible for roadmap planning, resource allocation, budget management and ensuring successful delivery in regulated financial environments where compliance, security and quality are critical.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Building and maintaining comprehensive project roadmaps spanning 3-6 months, aligned with business priorities and technical constraints
- Planning and managing team composition and resource allocation across multiple projects, ensuring optimal capacity utilization
- Managing project budgets including cost estimation, burn rate tracking, financial forecasting, and profitability optimization
- Coordinating cross-functional collaboration between Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams to ensure alignment
- Overseeing project scope, timelines, and deliverables for both fixed-price and T&M engagements
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively
- Managing monthly settlements, invoice preparation, and financial reconciliation with clients and team members
Expectations – the experience you need
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Project Manager or Delivery Manager in a software house or IT services environment
- Proven track record managing software development projects end-to-end, preferably in fintech or financial services
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in project budget management, P&L responsibility, and margin optimization
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with practical application in complex delivery environments
- Experience in resource planning, capacity management, and roadmap development across multiple teams and projects
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to negotiate and influence without formal authority
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence) and roadmapping platforms
- Fluent English (min. B2/C1) – both written and spoken
Additional skills – the edge you have
- Knowledge of fintech domain (Open Banking, PSD2, payment systems, financial regulations)
- Experience managing distributed or international teams
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and modern software architecture patterns
- Certifications: PMP, PSM, SAFe, or similar
