General Responsibilities:
To provide academic assistance and remediation to students who were unable to master coursework during the regular school year in a virtual, synchronous platform.
Specific Duties: (Illustrative only; not all inclusive)
• Provides instruction in appropriate academic area.
• Provides instruction or remediation as necessary.
• Prepares lesson plans and makes optimum use of class time to meet stated objectives.
• Evaluates each pupil's performance, knowledge, and skills in academic area of responsibility.
• Maintains accurate and complete student records.
• Assists in the storage, maintenance and use of materials and property.
• Participates in planning and developing Program goals, objectives, curricula, and methods as requested.
• Communicates the needs and progress of participating students to each home district in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned by the Alternative Education Principal.
