We are seeking a professional, bilingual (English/Spanish) Female Medical Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a confident, patient-focused approach and a natural leadership presence.
This role requires someone who is comfortable educating patients about out-of-network benefits, copays, deductibles, and insurance coverage while delivering exceptional customer service over the phone and through patient communications.
Experience with Prompt EMR is highly preferred, but candidates with experience using other electronic medical record systems are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Female candidate.
- Fluent English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrative Assistant, or similar healthcare administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Insurance verification
- Out-of-network benefits
- Copays
- Deductibles
- Patient financial responsibility
- Comfortable explaining insurance coverage and payment responsibilities to patients in a clear, confident, and compassionate manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Leadership-oriented personality with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of patient calls.
- Experience working with EMR systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Prompt EMR.
- Familiarity with prior authorizations.
- Experience supporting private medical practices or specialty clinics.
Benefits
Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a negotiable pay rate depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
