We are looking for a video editor to create a polished, emotional end-of-season highlight video for a youth team (35 athletes).
We have a mix of:
• Photos from throughout the season
• Competition videos
• Short interview clips with athletes
• A special cameo video from Olympic gymnast
The goal is to create a cohesive, engaging “highlight film” (not just a slideshow) that captures the team’s journey, including fun moments, challenges, and achievements.
⸻
Project Scope:
• Compile and edit mixed media (photos + videos + interviews)
• Add music, transitions, and pacing appropriate for a live banquet audience
• Incorporate interview clips naturally into the story
• Audio editing for voice overs
• Feature the cameo in a meaningful moment
• Deliver a final video suitable for presentation (10 minutes preferred)
⸻
Style Direction:
• Emotional, celebratory, team-focused
• Clean and modern (not overly cheesy or templated)
• Good pacing — avoid overly long or repetitive sections
• Build toward a strong ending
⸻
Assets Provided:
• Google Drive folder with all media
• Basic outline of key moments and priorities
• Optional guidance on sequencing
⸻
Deliverables:
• Final video file (1080p minimum)
• One round of revisions included
⸻
Timeline:
• Project start: ASAP
• First draft: by May 25
• Final delivery: by June 1 (firm deadline)
⸻
Budget:
Open to proposals (fixed price preferred)
⸻
To Apply:
Please include:
1. 2–3 relevant video samples (highlight reels, event recaps, or similar)
2. Brief description of your editing approach for this type of project
3. Estimated turnaround time
⸻
We are looking for someone who can tell a story with the varied assets provided, not just assemble clips. Strong communication and reliability are important due to the fixed deadline.
