Role Overview:
Define and scale a global AI sales motion that transforms how enterprise AI solutions are positioned, validated, and adopted across industries. This role connects business value with technical innovation, ensuring organizations realize meaningful outcomes from AI-driven customer experience orchestration. At Genesys, you will contribute to delivering empathetic, human-centered experiences at scale by aligning advanced AI capabilities with real customer needs.
You will lead a globally distributed organization of AI Sales Specialists and regional leaders, operating in a coordinated “two-in-a-box” model with AI Architects to drive business value articulation, technical validation, and successful customer outcomes. This role is accountable for global AI revenue contribution, pipeline creation, and execution across regions, while shaping how complex opportunities are developed and won.
Operating within a use-case-led and outcome-driven framework, you will help scale repeatable approaches that move customers from initial concept through prototype, pilot, and full production. You will engage with diverse teams, customers, and partners worldwide, fostering an inclusive environment where different perspectives strengthen innovation and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Global Strategy & Operating Model
Define and execute the global strategy for AI and Experience Orchestration Sales Specialists aligned with growth objectives and AI market evolution
Establish a unified operating model integrating Account Executives, AI Sales Specialists, and AI Architects into coordinated deal execution
Own, scale, and drive adoption of the global “two-in-a-box” engagement model across AI Sales Specialists, AI Architects, Solution Consultants, and go-to-market teams, clearly defining ownership across business value articulation, use-case framing, commercial strategy, and technical validation
Enable joint account planning, coordinated deal execution, and shared success metrics including win rate, deal size, and AI adoption outcomes
AI Deal Strategy & Revenue Execution
Own global AI revenue targets, pipeline creation, and performance across all regions
Lead strategy for complex AI opportunities, including use-case definition, executive alignment, and commercial structuring
Partner with AI Architects to validate solutions through prototypes and scalable architecture
Scale a prototype to pilot to production motion that accelerates adoption and expansion
Increase win rates and deal velocity through disciplined deal orchestration
AI Use-Case & Value Selling Leadership
Define and scale industry-specific AI use-case frameworks and repeatable sales plays
Embed outcome-based selling focused on business impact, return on investment, and transformation value
Standardize executive-level value articulation for CIO, CTO, and CXO stakeholders
Connect AI solutions to measurable outcomes including efficiency, customer experience, and revenue impact
Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
Build and lead a global team of regional leaders and AI Sales Specialists
Design the organization to align with market maturity, growth priorities, and regional needs
Establish clear performance expectations, career pathways, and development programs
Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that values diverse perspectives
Strengthen leadership capability through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning
Go-to-Market, Operations & Ecosystem Engagement
Align AI strategy with broader platform and enterprise sales motions across sales, product, and marketing
Ensure seamless collaboration between Specialists and Architects within account planning and execution
Standardize processes for pipeline management, forecasting, and deal qualification
Implement performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and data-driven decision making
Engage senior executives and partners to drive high-impact AI opportunities and co-sell initiatives
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in enterprise sales leadership, with exposure to AI, customer experience, or related technologies
Proven track record of leading global, matrixed sales organizations and delivering against large-scale revenue targets
Experience leading leaders across multiple regions or global teams
Demonstrated success in complex, consultative, and solution-based sales environments
Strong understanding of AI market dynamics, enterprise use cases, and value-based selling approaches
Experience partnering with technical stakeholders such as architects or solution consultants in complex sales cycles
Ability to operate across strategic, operational, and execution-focused responsibilities
Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and customer success
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting AI-driven transformation initiatives within enterprise organizations
Background in customer experience platforms, cloud technologies, or contact center environments
Experience building or scaling specialist or overlay sales teams
Familiarity with partner ecosystems and collaborative go-to-market approaches

Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$231,800.00 - $407,600.00
