Job description: About Jobgether:Jobgether is a Talent Matching Platform that partners with companies worldwide to efficiently connect top talent with the right opportunities through AI-driven job matching.One of our companies is currently looking for a Vice President, Engineering in the United States.This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a greenfield product with significant market potential and strategic importance. As Vice President of Engineering, you will oversee a high-performing engineering team, including an Engineering Manager and six software engineers, guiding them through the entire product lifecycle—from roadmap creation to launch. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in fast-paced, startup-like environments and has a passion for scaling teams, driving innovation, and making an impact at both the strategic and execution levels.Accountabilities:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of software engineers and an Engineering Manager
- Own the product roadmap and oversee the end-to-end delivery of a new software product
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and architectural decisions
- Ensure engineering excellence through robust QA practices and scalable development processes
- Foster innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and support
- Maintain operational excellence by owning team workflows and development tools
- Manage technical relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders
- 10+ years of experience leading product-focused engineering teams
- Strong background in UI technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, GraphQL)
- Proficiency with SQL and backend distributed systems, including experience with big data
- Experience working closely with UI/UX designers and contributing to user-focused features
- Proven ability to guide architectural direction and scale engineering processes
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience mentoring and managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing competing priorities in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Preferred: Background in AdTech or experience as a founder/early-stage startup leader
